About Us

Art D’Égypte is a privately owned Egyptian multidisciplinary company that provides art consultancy services. It provides services to institutions, corporations and private collectors. Works closely with curators to provide curatorial services to artists, art centers and foundations, art projects, public spaces, museums and art appreciators. The team has a strong background and extensive experience in the Egyptian art market. The company aims to promote Egyptian artists and the art scene locally, regionally and internationally.

Through raising funds Art D’Égypte aims on supporting young artists or artists that have scare funds in publishing their work. The company also sets itself the target of bridging the gap between the Egyptian artists and the world.

The company works towards filming documentaries on modern Egyptian artists starting with Alexandria. Cataloguing Egypt’s modern and contemporary art heritage is a further goal of the company.

Art D’Égypte is working on organizing yearly pop up shows in historical spaces for the first time in Egypt. The shows will allow the world to experience Egypt and its visual arts from a new angle. The objective is to raise awareness and aid NGO’s to raise funds to revive its heritage. That is considered world heritage.


Our Team

Nadine Abdel Ghaffar


Nadine is a multitalented professional. Her hard-work, interest and dedication to art and design help her enhance the cultural and social development landscape in Egypt. In 2003 she founded the interior design consultancy Veradeco. Abdel Ghaffar is constantly working on expanding her knowledge in the field of art and design which surly is a reason to the success of her company. In 2005 she decided to professionalize her passion in art dealing. She studied Curating at the Central Saint Martin school  and started organizing exhibitions in Egypt and Dubai to promote Egyptian art and artists. Her well kept connections with collectors and artists are a solid base for her work. She is committed to documenting Egypt’s modern art heritage and promote Egyptian art nationally, regionally and internationally. As a result of her extraordinary experience and deep commitment to the promotion of Egyptian art she established the art consultancy Art D’Égypte. With this Egyptian art initiative she aims to encourage the modern and contemporary art scene on an exclusive level. 

Malak Shenouda


Malak studied visual art and sociology at the American University in Cairo (AUC). Her work includes archival research, curating, writing and organizing art-related events. She has worked with artists and cultural initiatives in Egypt, London and Berlin and participated in the organization of the Downtown Contemporary Art Festival Cairo (D-Caf) and the Berlin film festivals, Berlinale and Forum Expanded. In 2018, she was selected as one of the 10 residents of the Roznama Studio Program organized by Medrar for Contemporary Art and the D-Caf Visual Arts Program. Shenouda also has her own multi-disciplinary artistic practice and has been part of several group exhibitions in Egypt, including the video and photography festival Cairographie at DARB1718. She has been on the curating team of Art D’Égypte for a year.

Hana El Beblawy    


‪Hana El Beblawy is a Cairo based visual artist who studied visual arts and architecture at the American University in Cairo. She has been involved in the Egyptian art scene and collaborated with several international artists and curators. Her work is conceptual and research based. In her work she always questions the idea of the private vs the public and how the private will no more remain private while using archival footage. She took part of various group exhibition and competitions for contemporary Art in Egypt.
